Care is changing dramatically as a result of ageing, spending cuts and the separation of housing and care – not only for the client or occupant but also for the care workers and the managers. While lack of sufficient financial resources were the main concern a year ago, today staff shortage is now the main issue. The new technological possibilities can offer part of the solution. Obviously, they must be adapted to suit the occupant and be workable for the care worker. DWA helps you to achieve that!
DWA advises on the possibilities for applying domotics or home automation responsibly and effectively for health care solutions. In consultation, we will identify the client’s needs.
This starts with a well considered vision of the systems. Besides the existing care and housing visions, a system vision will be established. Of course, it is important that the care workers and occupants are involved in the entire process. Once the vision of the organisation is clear, it can be translated into the programme of requirements.
We start with the user perspective and convert this into the technical requirements. This could include a care alarm system, care detection, integrated building management system, ICT facilities and also telephony. Naturally, we will take future possibilities into account.
